【范文】To call on more students to read more widely in their spare time, our school launched a campaign of "Reading Day" on June 1 in our school library. Students of the whole school took part．
In the morning, our principal delivered a passionate speech to advocate reading hungrily and decided on a novel to read together. After that, all the students were divided into groups to read different chapters of "Gone with the wind" and exchanged their ideas about it．At the end of the activity, the students attended a knowledge contest on the novel．
Not only did this successful event impress on the students the significance of reading but also aroused their interest in it．
