【范文】Recently, our class has held a heated debate on whether to clone humans or not. Different people hold different opinions.
Some students are in favor of cloning humans, thinking it is beneficial to human beings. First, cloning can help protect different species, especially some rare and endangered species. Hopefully, the future generation will see as many species as we do today. Second, it is good for medical research and can help doctors to solve many difficult problems.
However, other students object to the cloning of humans and believe it does more harm than good. From their point of view, if human beings go against nature, we will take the consequence and may be on our way to producing a monster. And some people may use cloning for bad purposes and thus our society could become a real mess.
In my view, cloning is important for the advance in science, and in the long run, it will bring people more benefits. But we should manage cloning in a reasonable way.
