May I have your attention please? I have an announcement to make. The Students’ Union is going to hold an English Speech Contest on the afternoon of January 17 in the school auditorium. The details are as follows.
As scheduled, it lasts from 4:00 pm. to 5:30 pm.. One speaker from each class is to take part in the activity. The speaker will choose a topic 10 minutes in advance and he is expected to give a speech of three minutes based on the topic. Our foreign teachers as well as some of the English teachers will serve as judges. The final results will be announced on the spot.
